Housing Search Workshops

Do you need to find subsidized, affordable, and accessible housing, but you don’t know where to look?

Learn the skills to find affordable housing!

Our workshop will teach you about:

  • Types of housing available in the MetroWest area
  • Navigating subsidized and affordable housing
  • Conducting your own housing search
  • Communicating with housing authorities, agencies, and landlords
  • Completing applications for voucher programs
  • How to request reasonable accommodations for your disability

In order to be successful in the housing search process, you have to take an active role. This means checking listings, calling to get applications, completing and mailing applications, and following-up with your advocate.

Join us on the 1st Monday of each month from 2:30p – 3:30p

  • Online via Zoom
  • In person at MWCIL, 1 Clarks Hill, Suite 200, Framingham
