has facts about accessibility, child-friendliness, travel, and transportation for all of Boston's most popular destinations. - Piers Park Sailing Club
in Boston has a nationally recognized, adaptive sailing program. - MassWildlife - Barrier Free Fishing

- The BayState Wheelers
are the only "All Disability" recreational organization providing wheelchair tennis, wheelchair basketball, track and field and water-skiing in the area. - Accessible Gardening
is the topic of Teresa Vincent's blog based on the Brookfield Farm in Amherst. Gardens for Everybody
shows how to make your own gardens accessible. - All Out Adventures
is located in Northampton, MA and offers outdoor recreation - much of it in conjunction with DCR. - CHD Disability Resources
is based in Feeding Hills and offers a variety of social, recreational and sports activities at Westfield College and other western MA locations. - Unified Sports Program
is also based in Springfield. The goal of Unified Sports is to teach kids with disabilities to play sports with their friends. - The Special Olympics of Massachusetts
offers athletic training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The statewide program supports 11,639 athletes.
New England Sports and Activities

provides summer and winter instruction for all ages and abilities at a variety of locations. - New England Handicapped Sports Association
is based at Mt. Sunapee, NH and provides summer and winter adaptive sports lessons. - Northeast Passage
is located at the University of New Hampshire, and has a wide range of accessible sports and recreation opportunities. - Maine Handicapped Skiing
has winter and summer adaptive recreational programs at various locations in Maine. - Ability Plus
has adaptive winter and summer sports programs at several NE ski resorts including Waterville Valley, Mount Snow, Attitash, Wildcat, Wachusett, Nashoba, Gunstock and Stowe. - Everyone Outdoors
is a blog detailing outdoor accessible adventures and adaptive recreation in N.E. The site is sponsored by Marcy Marchello of DCR.
National Sports and Recreation Programs

is a comprehensive site on the net for participant sports information and upcoming events. - The International Paralympics Committee is committed to enabling athletes to achieve sporting excellence and to developing sport opportunities for all persons with a disability from the beginner to elite level. The next games will be held in London in 2012.

Anjali Forber-Pratt, who lives in Natick, is a Bejing Paralympic medal winner in wheelchair racing. She has participated and won many other athletic competitions. Read her story in this Boston Globe article
